## Colony Area The Ireland Street Cats live in a residential neighborhood in Burlington, NC. We keep location details general to protect the safety of the colony — sharing precise feeding spots can attract well-meaning strangers who disrupt routines, or worse, people who mean harm. If you're a neighbor and you recognize these cats, you already know where they are. If you're looking for a specific cat, [reach out](/pages/contact.html) and we'll do our best to help. ## Frequently Asked Questions **I found an ear-tipped cat. What should I do?** An ear tip means the cat has been through a TNR program and is being cared for. The best thing you can do is leave the cat where it is. If you're concerned about its health, [contact us](/pages/contact.html). **I think I see a new cat that isn't ear-tipped.** Please let us know! A new, unfixed cat in the area needs to be trapped and neutered as soon as possible. Reach out via the contact form. **Can I feed the cats?** We appreciate the kindness, but please coordinate with us first. Feeding in random spots or at random times can disrupt the colony's routine and make it harder to monitor their health. **I found an injured cat in the colony.** Contact us right away. We can help assess the situation and get the cat care if needed.
